Zimná mágia
Úvod
Vaša mesta sa zahalí do bielej farby, lebo sa do nich vráti zima, ktorá udrie víchricou. Obyvatelia budú spočiatku nadšení zo snehovej nádielky a hrátok v snehu, však fujavice nie a nie prestať. Stále padajúci sneh bude vašim obyvateľom komplikovať život a klzké cesty sa stanú nebezpečné. Najvyššia rada mesta vyhlási núdzový stav s dôležitým odporúčaním, aby vaši dedinčania zostali doma v bezpečí.
Pri prechádzaní mestom si všimnete, že od domu k domu poletuje sova - pošťačka Janne - s darčekmi označené symbolom pošty. Tá vám vysvetlí, že veľká časť darčekov bola doručená už pred víchricou, ale teraz nechce doručiť len tie zostávajúce, navyše sa chce postarať aj o to, aby zlepšila ľuďom náladu v týchto nepríjemných časoch. Bez váhania sa k nej pripojíte a pomôžete ju rozšíriť zimné radosť.
Úlohy a miľníky úloh
Rovnako ako v predchádzajúcich udalostiach budete mať 2 úkolovej sady - jedna sa skladá z príbehových úloh a druhá z tzv. Epizodických úloh, ktoré dostanete, akonáhle dokončíte tie príbehové. To znamená, že prvej sérii úloh môžete dokončiť ihneď, však ďalšie úlohy bude dostávať po jednom každý deň udalosti.
Riešením úloh získate ďalšie výhody, lebo za každý splnenú úlohu sa priblížite k dosiahnutiu jedného z míľnikov, ktorý vám neskôr poskytne ďalšie odmeny.
Ponuka udalosti
Za každú splnenú úlohu získate kľúče od schránok 
, ktoré sa vám pripočítajú do menu udalosti. Pomocou kľúčov od schránok môžete otvoriť poštovej priehradky a vyhrať vzácne a jedinečné budovy udalostí a ďalšie predmety. Otvorením poštových schránok obdržíte zimné darčeky 
a postúpite bližšie k hlavným cenám, ale to nie je všetko! V tohtoročnej zimnej mágii pri otvorení poštovej priehradky získate poštovú hviezdu, ktorá sa pripíše do špeciálneho počítadla a akonáhle ich nazbierate dostatok, bude môcť aktivovať špeciálnu schopnosť, ktorá zvýši vaše šance na výhru!
Kliknutím na ponuku zimnej mágie 2020 sa vám zobrazí okno udalosti, kde získate všetky informácie a budete tu môcť použiť vaše poštové kľúča:
- Čas ostávajúci do konca udalosti
- Aktuálna hlavná cena na ktorej práve pracujete a prehľad ďalšej hlavnej ceny.
- Exkluzívna denná odmena. Pri prejdení myši cez túto budovu získate podrobnejšie informácie.
- Počt kľúčov od schránok
ktoré ste pozbierali ale ešte neminuli. - Možnosť kúpiť Kľúče od schránok za Prémiovú menu.
- Zobrazuje koľko zimných darčekov
bolo doručených a váš pokrok k odomknutiu hlavnej ceny. - Olla, doručovacia sova: Keď Olle odovzdáte zimné darčeky z poštových priehradiek, bude nasledovať cestu k aktuálnej hlavnej cene.
- Akonáhle otvoríte poštový priečinok pomocou kľúča od schránky, za odmenu získate zimné darčeky a poštové hviezdy.
- Špeciálne schopnosti: "Odhaliť dva" a "dvojitá odmena" - Keď je otvorený požadovaný počet poštových schránok, môžete ich použiť na odhalenie dvoch náhodných odmien alebo zdvojnásobenie odmeny v ďalšie otvorené poštovej schránke. "Znovu zamiešať" môžete použiť kedykoľvek, ale bude vás to stáť kľúče od schránok a získate tým novú sadu poštových priehradiek.

a získať tak bližšie informácie.
Postal Keys
You start the Winter Magic event with 100 Postal Keys and each Event Quest will give you more as a reward for completing the given tasks. Every day you play during the Event, you will receive a Daily Winter Magic login reward of 25 Postal Keys .
Also, from time to time, you will find more Postal Keys around your city outskirts for you to collect.
You can then use the Postal Keys to open Postal Boxes. Additional Postal Keys are unlocked upon reaching the third Quest Milestone.
Remember that the Winter Magic event only lasts for a few weeks, and after that you will no longer be able to use your Postal Keys to open Postal Boxes and earn awesome rewards, so don't waste time!
Postal Boxes
Each day in the Winter Magic event starts with a total of 16 locked Postal Boxes that are just waiting for you to open them, using Postal Keys. At the start of each day, you will be presented with a new selection of rewards hidden within the Postal Boxes. To give you an idea of what you can win, the rewards are visible at first but you must "Shuffle" them before you open the doors to claim them.
You can activate a manual "Shuffle" at any point in time, given you have the required 45 Postal Keys.
Use your Postal Keys to open a Postal Boxes. Each one will give you a Winter Gift plus one of many different rewards like the changing Daily Exclusives, Instants, Knowledge Points, Rune Shards, special Buildings or more Postal Keys.
| Hint:If you have already found the prizes you were looking for, using the Shuffle button to get a new set of closed doors might be a good strategy. |
Special Powers
Each time you open a Postal Box, 1 Postal Star is added to the Special Powers counter. Once you have gathered the required amount you can then use the respective Power to further increase your odds!

Reshuffle - At the cost of 45 Postal Keys it presents you with new rewards, closes all previously opened Postal Boxes and allows you to "shuffle" them again. |

2x - Doubles up the rewards in the next Postal Box that is opened after activation. |

Magnifier - Shows the contents of two, as yet unopened, Postal Boxes. |
| Please Note:You cannot continue to collect additional Postal Stars if a Special Power is ready to use. Only after a Power has been used will the counter start increasing again with each new door opened. |
Winter Gifts
Each time you open a Postal Box, you will be rewarded with a Winter Gift. If you have used the "2x" Special Power previously, you will even receive two Winter Gifts.
Every Postal Box you open also contains a Winter Gift that Olla, the delivery owl, will deliver to your citizens. Once Olla delivered a total of 20 Winter Gifts, the next Grand Prize is unlocked for you.
Rewards
Evolving Building
A new Evolving Building is available in the Winter Magic Event: the Watchful Winter Owl! Your Winter Owl can be evolved through 10 stages to increase its power.

The Watchful Winter Owl provides Culture and Population and automatically produces Supplies. As an additional bonus, it also provides the production of various Goods, Mana and/or boosted Basic Sentient Goods (depending on the Chapter). As it evolves, you will receive higher amounts of these resources. When you feed your Winter Owl you will receive random Boosted Standard Goods per Neighborly Help while the feeding effect is active.

Grand Prizes & Daily Prizes
Each day, you will have a chance to win a Daily Exclusive Prize from Postal Boxes but, the real goal of this Event, is to win the fantastic Grand Prizes.
Grand Prizes include the Watchful Winter Owl Artifact, which allows you to evolve your Watchful Winter Owl to the next stage. See Evolving Buildings for more information on the evolution process.
But that's not all, as there are more awesome prizes, including Knowledge Points, Ancient Knowledge, Coin Rain Instants, Rune Shards and more.
After collecting the Daily Exclusive rewards and Grand Prizes, you will find them in your Inventory

Expiring Building
In this year's Winter Magic event, when you reach the last milestone reward, you will receive a brand new Expiring Building: the Goddess of Wishes grants you a random reward every 12 hours.
Pet Food
Pet Food is a special Enchantment designed specifically to feed your Watchful Winter owl and other Pet Evolving Buildings. Applied directly to the building from your Enchantments tab, it activates a Pet Food Boost.
Look for the recipe in your Magic Academy's Crafting tab and craft it as your Pets become hungry again after their hard work to provide their boosts.
